HIGH PERFORMANCE FASTENERS

THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF QUALITY FOR THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SECURITY

We meet your requirements one hundred percent. And we prove this claim each and every day. Customer satisfaction builds trust – and this is the key to mutual success. Here at Johann Maier, we are specialised in small and medium-sized product lines. And we focus on professional complete manufacturing; in other words, end to end. In-house production enables us to ensure the highest level of quality for all our products. Our optimised high-performance fasteners are everywhere – in outer space, airspace, on earth and down in the deep sea:

  • The International Space Station (European ‘Columbus’ module)
  • Satellites for navigation and earth observation
  • Launchers (Ariane, ATV)
  • Missiles
  • Helicopters
  • Corporate jets
  • Chassis
  • Gearboxes
  • Engines

WE COMPLY WITH THE STRICTEST STANDARDS

AND WE ARE EXPERTS IN HANDLING DIFFICULT CASES

Our fastening elements boast tensile strengths between 900 and 2100 MPa. Our standard materials include a range of high and low-alloy steels as well as titanium, nickel and cobalt-based alloys. We rely exclusively on sophisticated manufacturing processes such as hot forging, heat treatment and thread rolling. These processes ensure that our products have optimum mechanical and functional properties – to keep you safe. We have been specialising in the strictest standards and requirements for aerospace and space travel materials for many years. Let us know your special application needs – we’ll do everything we can to exceed even the most stringent requirements.

Standard materials overview:

  • Titanium alloys (TiAl6V4, TiBetaC)
  • High-strength, hardened and tempered steels (1.6604 / E35NCD16 / 30NCD16 / 35CD4 / 1.7784)
  • Heat-resisting precipitation-hardening steels (A286 / 1.4944)
  • High-strength and corrosion-resistant steels (13-8 Mo / 17-4 PH / 15-5 PH / 1.4534 / 1.4548 / 1.4545)
  • High-strength precipitation-hardening nickel alloys Nimonic 80 A (2.4631) / Inconel 718 (2.4668)
  • High-strength and highly corrosion-resistant NiCo alloys (MP159, MP35N)

WAY BEYOND THE COMPLIANCE OF STANDARDS

BECAUSE THERE’S NO UPPER LIMIT ON SAFETY

Although their names are just a few letters long, European standards are extremely important for ensuring lasting reliability and security. We follow these standards because we aim for perfection. All our fastening solutions are produced in keeping with all the relevant standards and regulations, such as DIN, LN, EN, ISO and NFL. We inspect each and every one of our products using a rigorous quality management system during and after the manufacturing process. We fully comply with the ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100:2018 standards, without exceptions. Moreover, we see these standards as a starting point: We are happy to set even higher standards tailored just for you.
